In light of some organisational changes, Momentum tasked us with creating a unique and engaging concept for a sales conference – the theme being change. The objective of this campaign was to have employees embrace the concept of change, motivate them through this period and also have some fun!
We created a concept called Momentum Shake-Up which addresses change in organisational structure. This turned what you’d typically expect from a sales conference on its head, making for a very memorable experience.
To shake things up, we changed the usual layout of a conference venue by using bean bags and loungers, and also included Shake Up moments where delegates were stopped in their tracks and forced to change something in an unusual way!
We also had boisterous motivational speaker, David Germond host the two-day conference. Other Shake Up elements included a live doodle illustration, hangover kits delivered to everyone’s rooms and even portable smoothie makers! The conference culminated in a pub themed awards dinner which, unlike most formal dinners, allowed guests to wear whatever they want.
The Shake Up conference was well received by all employees who attended. Adding fun elements throughout the conference helped to alleviate the heavy content of the presentations and allowed employees to interact with other in a more personal way.
